“Until now, the 30 years of my leather experience have been building saddlery items for the western industry in our family saddle shop, 33 Ranch & Saddlery.
Along the way, I used my knowledge of quality leatherwork to craft a few purses and handbags for our regular customers. They were simple bags, most with tooling to match a customers saddle or chaps.
It was during breast cancer treatment that I was able to do a complete audit of my life and decide what was truly important. My family is always my number one, but it became clear that I wanted to share my love of leather with people outside of the western horse community, and McKinley Handmade was born.”
